Prof. Jun Yu

Hangzhou Dianzi University

He received the B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from Zhejiang University, Zhejiang, China. He is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology, Hangzhou Dianzi University. From 2009 to 2011, he was with Singapore Nanyang Technological University. From 2012 to 2013, he was a Visiting Researcher with Microsoft Research Asia. He has authored and co-authored more than 60 scientific articles. He has (Co-)Chaired for several special sessions, invited sessions, and workshops. He served as a Program Committee Member or reviewer of top conferences and prestigious journals. He is a Professional Member of the IEEE, ACM, and CCF.

 

Prof. Yang Yang

ShanghaiTech University, China

Dr. Yang Yang is currently a tenured professor at ShanghaiTech University, China, serving as the Executive Dean of School of Creative Arts and a Co-Director of Shanghai Institute of Fog Computing Technology (SHIFT). Before joining ShanghaiTech in July 2018, he has held faculty positions at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Brunel University (UK), University College London (UCL, UK), and SIMIT, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS, China) since 2002. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things, Fog computing, and Open 5G. He has published more than 180 papers and filed more than 80 technical patents in those areas. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, a Board Member and the Director of Greater China Region for the OpenFog Consortium.

 

Prof. Xinheng Wang

Xi’an Jiaotong – Liverpool University, China

Prof. Wang has broad academic working experience in China, England, Wales, and Scotland for more than 20 years. He has also extensive research experience in Internet of Things (IoT), wireless mesh networks, indoor positioning, big data analytics, and applications for smart cities. Along with nearly 30 research projects sponsored from EU, UK EPSRC, Innovate UK, China NSFC, and industry, his research in each area has led to an impactful industrial product. For example, the smart trolley, which has been deployed at more than 10 airports in China, he has developed with partners is the first in the world to provide an IoT solution aiming at providing intelligent services for passengers. His collaborative research in acoustic localisation with Zhejiang University has won the first place in Microsoft Indoor Localisation Competition in sound group.

 

Prof. Haijun Zhang

University of Science and Technology Beijing, China

Haijun Zhang is currently a Full Professor in University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. He serves as Editor of IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Green Communications Networking, IEEE Communications Letters, and IEEE Future Networks Tech Focus. He received the IEEE CSIM Technical Committee Best Journal Paper Award in 2018 and IEEE ComSoc Young Author Best Paper Award in 2017.
